Education and Community Engagement Coordinator:
The CCGF is seeking an individual to connect with schools throughout Northeast Ohio
and to engage with the local neighborhood community.
Part time contracted position:
- 15-20 hours a week
- Salary $20,000 a year
- No benefits
- Reports to Executive Director
- Background check required
Responsibilities:
- Connect with schools throughout Northeast Ohio , particularly CMSD, to educate about Gardens in the classroom or as a field trip using our curriculum guide
- Giving teachers instructional sessions in a classroom setting
- Give guided group tours as needed
- Engage with the local neighborhood that includes Glenville, St. Clair/ Superior, and Hough to establish relationships and partnerships with other nonprofits. Create programs and help promote current CCGF programs and events to the immediate area.
- Attend meetings as needed, occasionally after hours
Qualifications:
- Education background
- Working with nonprofits and other community organizations
- Connection with local neighborhood preferred
