The garden was blessed during a traditional Native American ceremony in April 2012 and is currently in the planning phases.

History & Design:

Formed in 2012, the Native American Cultural Garden Steering Committee consists of a group of several community volunteers whose mission is to promote the Cleveland Native American community through representation within the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. It is the intent for the Native American Cultural Garden to be the site of active programming including:

  • Ceremonial Equinox & Solstice Events
  • Community Picnics & Event Location
  • Native American Heritage Month Celebration Location

How You Can Help:

Volunteer Your Time – We are currently seeking individuals who share the common goal to bring our garden to fruition.

Volunteer Your Talent – Have experience in landscaping, the arts, fundraising, or working within a Native community? We would love to hear from you!
